About Metis

Wisdom in motion. The balance between intuition and rigor.

Named for the Greek goddess of strategic counsel. We work with organizations and the leaders inside them, bringing clinical depth to the questions that decide how people lead.

Who we serve

The leaders carrying it.

Mid-sized organizations, executive teams, founders and boards: the people whose decisions ripple through everyone else.

Executive teams

C-suites navigating strategy resets, integration or a major transformation cycle.

For Businesses

Founders & CEOs

Leaders scaling past the comfort of their first instincts, and looking for an honest mirror.

Businesses & Individuals

Boards & people leaders

Decision-makers responsible for culture, succession and the long arc of organizational health.

For Businesses

Our approach

Three movements in every engagement.

We work the problem until your team can run it without us. The deliverables look familiar. The path through them is different.

Movement 01

Recognize

See what's overlooked

We surface the patterns shaping your people and performance. The ones too close, too inherited or too uncomfortable to see clearly.

Movement 02

Discern

Separate signal from noise

Validated assessments, behavioral science and systems thinking turn lived experience into decision-ready intelligence. We don't moralize. We measure.

Movement 03

Recalibrate

Move the right levers

Insight is the start. Implementation is the work. We translate findings into the structural and behavioral changes that hold beyond the engagement.

On the name

Metis was the pre-Olympian goddess of wisdom, deep thought and strategic counsel. The mother of Athena, the keeper of discernment. The work is what the mark suggests: an intellect that perceives, and clarity that doesn't fear mystery.

The practice

Clinical depth, applied to leadership.

Metis is grounded in clinical psychology. We bring that depth to leadership work: how people actually behave under pressure, how groups really move, and what it takes for change to hold.

The same practice writes Insights, our essays on the psychology of leadership. Reading a few is the quickest way to see how we would think about your situation.
